Founded in 2000, CITrials conducts Phase I – IV clinical trials to further the development of medications benefiting patients, communities and physicians around the globe.  With five research sites in Southern California, CITrials specializes in Psychiatric clinical trials in areas including Schizophrenia, Schizo-affective, Bi-polar - manic and depressive, Major depressive disorder, Generalized anxiety disorder, Alzheimer's disease and ADHD.  Its expertise in Internal Medicine clinical trials includes Migraine, Hypertension, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hyper-Lipidemia, Pharmacokinetics and Diabetes.

CITrials has earned a reputation for producing trial results accurately, quickly and within global guideline requirements.  The company has attracted a team of board certified physician researchers affiliated with Southern California’s leading universities and hospitals.  These investigators partner with other skilled CITrials staff to perform both inpatient and outpatient studies working with central institutional review boards to eliminate the needs for subsequent medical review.

CITrials has also established a dedicated team to recruit and retain patients from diverse ethnic populations across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside/San Bernardino and San Diego counties.  CITrials employs a highly collaborative process between staff and community hospitals, mental health organizations and doctors to identify patients best suited for specific trials.

CITrials extensive research experience includes Pediatric; First in Human; Age, Gender and Race; Drug Interactions and Food Effect among others. With its focus on Psychiatric research, CITrials offers patients participating in its trials valuable access to mental health screenings, new medications and support services at a time when many people struggle to get into the mental healthcare system. A privately-held, woman-owned company, CITrials has headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA.

ABOUT CLINICAL RESEARCH

One of the primary focuses of a clinical trial is to test the effects of new drugs compared to ones already on the market. Volunteers are needed to participate in these clinical trials. Those who volunteer benefit from knowing they have helped to advance medical research into new treatments and often receive compensation for their time and effort
